An appointment with an Advocate will be made at a time that works for you. Because appointments fill up quickly, please let the hotline advocate know if you have an issue that requires a quick response from a Victim Advocate. The Hotline Advocate will try to connect you with a Legal Advocate immediately.
Our Services
Bay Area Turning Point offers comprehensive, strength based support services in the Southeast Harris, Eastern Brazoria County, Northern Galveston and all of Chambers area. We provide safety and support in times of crisis and work with survivors to increase their access to resources and tools that will help them build lives free from fear and abuse. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at Bay Area Turning Point. There are a variety of ways for you to get involved. We depend on individuals and groups in the community to help provide services to the many survivors of family and sexual violence. We also have many different ways to donate and financially support our efforts.
Volunteer
At BATP, we invite the community to participate with us in stopping violence. The act of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking is a community problem and requires a community response. It is the rich partnerships with individuals and community organizations that allow us to do the monumental work before us each day.
We have opportunities for a vast array of volunteers including but not limited to administrative support, housekeeping, special projects, food services, childcare, crisis hotline support, grounds keeping and fundraising activities. We look forward to meeting you!
